Richard Colosi is a K-12 Technology Integration Specialist and educational consultant from Rochester, NY.  Throughout his education career, he has established himself as an effective leader within instructional technology through creating and sharing effective integration practices to maximize student success in 21st Century learning environments. Since beginning his career as an elementary school teacher in 2006, he was named winner of two national video contests–the 2007 Interwrite Learning Classroom Makeover Contest and the 2008 SMART Technology Extraordinary Moments Contest–he specializes in video production and student content creation.

The past two years, Richard has developed and shared successful practices within Blended Learning, utilizing laptop and iPad devices in correlation with the Common Core State Standards. He has been a featured presenter at numerous school districts throughout New York State, and he helped consult with the United States Department of Education’s Office of Innovation and Improvement.

Richard is an Apple Distinguished Educator and a Google Certified Teacher. He has been featured on local television and in print media, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Teacher, and The American Teacher.
